City of Toledo | Free CCO Credit
Every year we host various Clean Toledo Refuse and Recycling Events around town. We are happy to report 2022 was our best year yet! Thanks to Toledo and Lucas County residents with refuse, we served over 11,000 vehicles at our 24 drive-up events.
Properly disposing of paint, household hazardous items, electronics, and green waste can improve the quality of our environment. This year, we partnered with Keep Toledo Lucas County Beautiful, EnviroTire, American Paint Recyclers, AIM E-cycling, ERG Environmental Services, and Gateway Recycling for hard-to-dispose items.
What we learned for 2023:
Public participation continues to increase
There is a demand for more styrofoam, shrink wrap and green waste collection.
